![]() ![]() Upgrade all the streets and look for the most culture efficient event buildings (one of the best is the Lava Codex - it can be crafted in academy) Until the beginning of chapter 9 you will need every cell for culture. In chapters 9 to 12, the reason is mana - you will fill all the available space with mana buildings. This is right for every stage in the game, but in some stages the problem is bigger and the reasons are different. The most expensive resource in the game is SPACE. Currently try to make as much KP as you can from tournaments events and even crafting. This source of KPs becomes much more useful in later chapters. Buying KP for gold doesn't work well in early game since the price increasing rapidly. in Ch 5 the progress bottle-neck were KP (this changed somewhere around ch. All those will make your progress much smoother. This way you will establish constant supply of very valuable things like diamonds, time boosters, spell fragments, combining catalysts, supply instants along with some other rare prizes. I recommend playing SoE every week and beat at least the first boss (try beating the second). Later the picture changes, but in ch 5 it's quite easy to go up to the second boss in spire especially with the amount of manufactures I recommended above. Tournaments were the only place where I used army until maybe ch 9). In the Spire of Eternity, in first chapters it's better to use diplomacy then to fight. Later you will reduce this number (refer to a table in this post - it worked for me the best: ). increase T1 manufactures to 10 and T2 to 6. increase a number of workshops to at least 8 (I found this number optimal thorough all the chapters I player) So for someone in chapter 5 I would recommend: Here are couple of my opinions - maybe you will find them useful (BTW, I am chapter 14 after about 16 months of playing): ![]() Some of the mentioned below works for me and others absolutely not (but I know they work for others). Number of strategies are as number of players (and this is the beauty of this game)! Only takes time mostly to get back to where you were. Your city will never stay the same as you progress- utilise the building teleport spells or don't be afraid to delete and rebuild. In terms of armouries 3-4 is a good amount, nothing wrong with starting with 1 or 2but once you start needing to produce orcs with them (orc chapters+) you'll probably find you will want more. I'd say a good general rule of thumb is 6-8 workshops, 4x tier 1, 3x tier 2 (unless you are boosted scrolls, sorry many players are scrolls overloaded) 2x tier 3. ![]() Find you are running out of supplies? You probably need more workshops to accomodate (or you have low culture, you might be able to survive by boosting culture instead) You should generally find your demand for certain goods will go up and down between each chapter - one chapter might want more tier 3goods (dust elixir and gems) while another might demand more tier 1 goods (Steel planks and marble) so you should adjust accordingly. Have you hit the relics cap for your boost? It's 500 relics of your boosted goods for 700% production bonus and you can go even higher with certain ancient wonders like the Mountain Halls. I don't think there's any one set answer but you've got your boosted goods strategy which is one thread of efficiency, as recommended by another having buildings at max level is another form of efficiency. Thing is, it depends on your own gameplay, your activity, how active your neighbours and/or fellowship members are and how much you trade. ![]()
